• AVDC Planning Committee voted 8 to 1 in favour of approving this greenfield scheme 
• Secured planning consent in advance of the Local Plan
• Active involvement in developing the Neighbourhood Plan, resulting in the site being included as the ‘no 1 priority site’ for new homes
• Secured the support of the Parish Council, local stakeholders, the glider club and sports clubs
• Extensive community engagement including site tours, design workshops, public exhibitions and stakeholder briefings
• Play ground design workshop session held with pupils at the local primary school
• Facilitation of detailed discussions with local sports clubs over design and provision of the sports pavilion
• Minimal local objection to the scheme (only 5 objections) 
• Provision of a press office function during the planning stages, with ongoing proactive media engagement as occupiers take up space onsite
• Community engagement in relation to the re-location of the glider club offsite, which is a sensitive issue locally
