PDI Activities & Achievements

• Political support resulted in delegated approval by planning officers   
• Pre application consultation with the local community through public exhibitions 
• Local political support secured from the town council and ward councillors
• Secured support from the local rambler and faith groups
• Managed to contain local objections to 1 letter from an immediate neighbour
• PDI played an active role in exploring options for an onsite community centre  
• Assistance provided to the sales team for commercial element of the site, and  at a commercial launch event
• Liaison with local community over road closures to facilitate delivery of the new access, including a consultation event, Q&A document and liaison with local councillors and contractors
• Community Liaison Group established with 13 immediate neighbours to the site to keep them informed and to seek their input into boundary treatments
